For more than four decades, Bishop H. Curtis Douglas has given his life to the Church — rising through nearly every area of service before planting a work of his own in Brooklyn in 1998.
Today he shepherds the congregation of Dabar Bethlehem Cathedral in Queens Village, presides over an international fellowship of churches and leaders, sends mission teams across four continents, and sets Scripture to song. Through it all runs one conviction: the Word of God — dabar — still transforms lives, families and generations.

Composer, choir director and recording artist, Bishop Douglas sets Scripture to music so that the Word of God settles into the believer’s spirit, mind and heart.
From Scriptures in Song (2012) to the live choir album Amazing Things (2018) and the radio single “Great God,” his music carries the full, unmistakable sound of the great gospel choir tradition.
